One Poem by Colin James

Not All Our Doubts Have been Addressed

Maneuvered
a dead mouse
over a small hill.
Didn't bother to
check the corpse
assumed worms
or even birds would
have a peck at it.
Conversely satisfied
humans descended
from serpents not apes.
As when typically
on the prowl, I could
never determine what
to do with my arms.
